I watched BtVS when it aired. Late 90’s, I stopped mid-season 4 and sadly missed out on all the Spuffy. I was a Bangel back then anyways, lots of swoonage over the tall and brooding one. 

I rewatched all 7 seasons early 2022 and fell in love with Spuffy instantly. When Spike drove over that Welcome sign and told Buffy weapons make him feel all manly, was all it took for me to leave my Bangel phase behind and change teams. I’m alright with Angel as a character though, I just don’t see him as a love interest for Buffy anymore. 

The March 2023 Short and Spuffy Event inspired me to start writing. The lovely scratchmeout has been my steady beta extraordinaire and friend ever since. I’ve found such amazing friendships since joining this fandom and I am forever grateful.
