Story Notes: The theme for these drabbles is to take a particularly painful moment from canon and show Spike’s inner feelings/thoughts, using the prompts to pick out the moments. In some cases, I may have to make up post-series moments. I’ll try to do as many as I have ideas and time for.
I'm rating it PG just in case? But it's probably G.

The French Quarter, also known as the Vieux Carré, is the oldest neighborhood in the city of New Orleans. After New Orleans (French: La Nouvelle-Orléans) was founded in 1718 by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville, the city developed around the Vieux Carré ("Old Square" in English), a central square. The district is more commonly called the French Quarter today, or simply "The Quarter".

Picks up after ‘Never Leave Me’, after Spike is taken by the Harbingers.
