So we were discussing reunion/post-series fics on the SAD Discord server and ones especially where Buffy or Spike date someone else in the meanwhile. And this thought kept niggling at me, so here’s the challenge:

Pick a character from another show/movie/book/franchise for Buffy or Spike to date.

MUST HAVE:

• Buffy/Spike/both experiencing a healthy relationship with a crossover character.
• The relationship ends in some way related OR unrelated to their reunion.
• Spuffy HEA/HFN with their new healthy relationship skills!

Can Have:

• Crossover SOs for Buffy, Spike, or both. They do not have to be from the same property.
• Crossover SOs can be any gender.
• You can play with the timeline of the other show/movie/etc. (But points if it’s close to the BtVS timeline.)
• Comics-compliant or not, the choice is yours.

Can NOT Have:

• Age inappropriate crossover SOs.
• Abuse/SA/shitty relationships of any kind.
• Hallmark Channel breakups— ie “oh they’re an asshole cause they work too much, so it’s totally ok to cheat on them with my ex.”
