I want a Spuffy story where Spike falls in love with Buffy while he is still chipless and evil and he DOESN't become good because of his love for Buffy. He's in love with Buffy, he hates it, and he knows it's wrong but he can't help it. He can't hurt Buffy directly because his feelings prevent him from doing so. So, no kidnapping, turning, Stockholm-Syndroming, torturing, killing, or sexually assaulting Buffy. He wants her alive and healthy. He can however hurt her friends, family, Watcher, or schoolmates - he can do all the evil you can come up with and want him to do. This can go dark. But Buffy's off-limits. He can play mind games with her. But in the end, he has to fail. 

He can come up with an evil scheme to isolate Buffy from her friends because he hopes that will make her turn to him as her only friend. He can try to draw Buffy into the darkness, but he cannot succeed with this. He can even team up with Buffy, hoping to get in her good graces but if so he's got to fail or betray her at one point. 

Must Haves

Evil, unrepentant Spike 

Supportive Scoobies. They are Buffy's safety net. But you can kill them off one by one if you'd like to. 

Can't Have

Soul or chip for Spike. 

Buffy can fall in love with Spike but can't allow herself to enter into a relationship with him (she can have guilty-pleasure sex with him though).  

Vampire!Buffy

Stockholm Syndrome

Bangel - not even canonical Bangel other than it being mentioned as something in the past. If the story starts pre-Surprise/Innocence you need to come up with a different reason for Angel losing his soul. If it takes place post-Surprise/Innocence Angel can stay soulless. Or you can get rid of him altogether. Whatever you like.

HEA/HFN - this is a dark fic and it needs to end dark. Buffy can throw Spike out of Sunnydale (maybe even tell him she has feelings for him but can't love him). Or he can sacrifice himself for Buffy. Or you can come up with something different altogether. But no happily ever after. 

Can Have

Spuffy Smut (it can be dub-consensual but not outright non-consensual or rape and it can't be fluffy, happy smut either.)

Early Dawn (it's up to you if and how you fit her into the story). 

Drusilla (it's up to you if she's still around if they are still together, and if and how they break up at one point. She can have died in Prague, or she can dump Spike early or she can even support Spike in his evil schemes).

Faith - either good or evil. Your choice.
