Story Notes: It's an amnesia fic! It's a Randy and Joan fic! It's... both? It's neither? It's bizarre and happy/sad to be honest I do not have this idea fully formed, and only having 3000 more words and a month's worth of mystery prompts to incorporate in is TERRIFYING to say the least, but oh my goodness I loved this event so much last year and I'm just so happy it's back, you guys.
This takes place in the summer betweens Seasons 2 and 3. And because BtVS is my deepest and longest-lasting fandom (so far) after25 years (27?? turns out I'm 27 not 25?? But also my first fandom probably didn't happen until I was like 10 so I don't even know??) of very formulative fandoms, something I'm trying to do with my Spuffy fics is incorporate something into them from every beloved and structural fandom I've been a part of in my life, haha.
So, while this story has NOTHING to do with Phineas and Ferb, the title does come from this scene from Across the 2nd Dimension.
And Double Dutchess was amazing enough to incorporate this silly title along with my very loose ideas into a banner that is just INCREDIBLE, so all the thanks to her!
And last but not least, this was written for the SAD Short and Spuffy Event 2024, so a new drabble will appear every day! Prompts will be the chapter titles. This story will be a little angsty, a little fun, a little concerning (in fact I'm putting dubious consent tags just because amnesia is dubious). So here we goooo...
