Past Featured StorySummary: A collection of Christmas and New Year ficlets – all set at some point in the comics world, but going off-canon as soon as Spike and Buffy get together. Set mostly in season 9, but the last one is set in season 10 but before Spike and Buffy get back together in canon. Knowledge of comic events might be helpful, but not really necessary.

Detective Dowling is a character introduced in season 9. He admires Buffy, but a relationship never really takes off – for obvious reasons. Spike has been gone for a while on his own adventure(comic) which resulted in a crashed space ship.
