Story Notes: Originally posted as part of my "Tales From Sunnydale" story, so if you feel like you've read this before, that's probably why! My scenes for the comics ended up becoming actual full-length stories so I'm now posting them all as standalones. This is part 2 in the series. Some dialogue is taken from various issues in Season 9, and the scene takes place during Issues #21-25, "The Core" Parts 1-5.
