I have to admit, I didn’t start shipping Spuffy until season 5, until the show actually gave us the idea. But then I quickly fell in love with pathetic, pining Spike as one of my favorite flavors of Spike. So when brainstorming ideas for the “Sunnydale After Dark” challenge, I thought I would pay tribute to this fabulous period of early season 5.
This fic is just a fun, short, imagined missing scene happening sometime between the episodes ‘No Place Like Home’ and ‘Family.’ After dark, of course.
