Story Notes: Hiya! 
Some of you may remember that I wrote a drabble collection around Spuffy showing their love for each other for this event last year. While I loved doing that, it was impossible to stay lovey-dovey for thirty days in a row. So this year, with my new theme, I am rectifying that oversight. Haha. 
I have a list of 31 emotions (one to discard as needed), I have 30 prompts coming my way and a month of (hopefully) fun, varied writing ahead of me. Since none of my drabbles will be connected (I simply could not put that pressure on me alongside the thesis I'm writing), you can dip in and out as desired.

PS: Genres will be added as I go. I am adding the ones I think will apply ahead of time, but that is subject to change. Spuffy likes to surprise us.

For this one, I imagine Harmony riding into town with Everybody blasting from her car radio. A girl vamp's gotta hype herself up to crash her ex's engagement party, yes?

This one's technically 101 words BUT I WILL NOT ADD A SPACE AFTER MY EM DASHES LIKE LAST YEAR, so I added a word instead. Yes I feel intensely about this myself.

Thank you for coming on this emotional rollercoaster with me! It's definitely hurtling down a slope today, BUT my first idea was even more evil/tragic/dramatic, so you ought to thank me for not going with that, really.

For context (if you want it), this takes place timeline-wise before the start of that cruise ship wedding planner Spuffy fic I've been writing (sloooowly). Carrie is the girlfriend who inconveniently opened the door when that universe's Buffy knocked on Spike's door to get her man back.

This was meant to portray one emotion but Buffy was not having it. She'll have you know she's more irritated than amused.

Anyway this is still lighter than yesterday's drabble.

The deep lore (that I possibly made up on the spot) here is that Hallmark finally came out with their long-awaited first of its kind movie musical, "The Heart Line", about a successful young woman in some very male-dominated field of work forced to return to her rural hometown for the holidays to take care of her aging father, who insists on her getting him his daily 8 am coffee from what he calls "the coziest coffee shop in town" ("Seriously, Dad, what's wrong with Starbucks?"). Our heroine begrudgingly fulfills her father's wishes and trudges through the snow (because of course there's snow) over to The Heart Line, only to discover that this famed little coffee shop is run by none other than her high school sweetheart (*GASP*). Might she be able to find more than a cup of morning joe in this peculiar turn of events? (Yes, the answer is yes, they get together at the end, and her love interest is probably also secretly super rich or something.)

I will let you know that my first idea for this prompt was a lot more cruel, but I reined in my brain's doomsday tendencies. This might be a very obvious place to go (and it has definitely been done before), but I didn't have time to go searching for other other ideas all day because of an afternoon work commitment that I got dragged into.

I have this terrible standard for myself that I don't want to be too predictable with these drabbles and prompts. That was an especially large roadblock today. I didn't want ot fulfill the prompt in the "aw they're in love how cute" kinda way, and every alternative I came up with felt...empty. Which is not great when your whole theme is big emotions, lol! So I picked one of the more unlikely emotions on my list (can you guess which one?) and challenged myself to make it fit the prompt. Besides, we already had a Spike/Other moment, so I figured Buffy deserved her own. 

(Don't worry, will Spike probably crash the wedding.)

Somehow, we've ended up back in season seven (aka the best Spuffy season, no one can ever change my mind about this fact of life, lol). I hope to work some of the other seasons into future drabbles. 

Alas, I managed to write this before work, which is a success, but also means I did not let it sit and then edit a second time. Oh well, 24h shift ahead of me, so this really is the only way I can get a drabble out today.
