Story Notes: For those who aren't aware, before my days as a Spuffy author I wrote a lot for Captain Canary. And I wanted to get back into writing Captain Canary. But Spuffy is my muse, so I tricked my brain! Now, I'm not sure when this will get done, or if I'll even have an audience for it, so I wanna post the prologue and get some feedback. I will say I'm going to try to work on future chapters in between Spuffy events

Alright, I'm getting up on my podium, I have something to say. When I posted the prologue on AO3 (this was on AO3, EF mods you can put down the pitchforks), I got a very rude comment from someone describing Spuffy as "r-word-y" and Captain Canary as "homophobic." Look, not every ship is for every person, but don't leave an anonymous comment (seriously, they were just "guest", didn't even give themselves a name) complaining about a fic existing. Hit the fucking back button and ignore that person forever. Anyways, I do have to thank that anonymous commenter for something. I was unsure about pursuing this story until this person filled me with spite and that's a powerful motivator. I did delete the comment (didn't think to report it, I wanted it as gone as soon as possible), and hopefully we'll have only positivity from now on :)

And we're back! Only took us a couple of months lol. In all honesty what got me back on this story was my love for Legends of Tomorrow coming back, reading fanfiction, and SAD's Legend Has It event. If only I knew back then what I knew now, I could've totally based this fic around that event lol. Anyways, hindsight is 20/20

Yes I disappeared again, yes I have been sitting on this for months. The hyperfixation paused for a bit but I now need a break from writing tons of exchange fics (I love writing them but I miss writing for me sometimes). Anyways, I've had this edited for a while and then never posted it but I want to post it now and then work on the next chapter in between said exchange fics. I'm hoping I'll be going back to writing more Liv-style fics after the holiday season
