Story Notes: Happy birthday, my sweet violetta! 
This story came about from a comment conversation that violettathepiratequeen and I had on the December gift fic I wrote for her, Nice. I mentioned how it would be funny if Spike and Buffy met other couples on vacation and they thought Spuffy seemed low-key and tame, even boring. I filed the idea away, not knowing if I’d ever pull it out.
Well, as usual, I got burned out after so much writing at the end of the year and fell hard into the reading zone. It took me longer than usual to pull myself out, but this story is what did it and I’m so excited to gift it to my good friend violetta, since our little chat inspired the whole thing.
I hope you enjoy it and don’t find it boring!
I also want to note that this story is most definitely a Spuffy story, it just approaches it from a different angle. It is told from an original character’s POV. I read a story ages ago that did something similar, Voyeur by smellslikecorruption, and I really loved it. This is definitely different from that story, but it is a wonderful read if you enjoy outside perspectives on our favorite couple.
