ETA: Loving all the supportive comments, but for whatever reason, my replies to them sometimes go up as more comments rather than as replies to someone else's comment. This little scene could be plunked into my current wip (which has yet to be posted anywhere). Angel has shanshued post NFA, and chosen not to tell Buffy that Spike survived also. Spike has assumed Buffy would prefer human Angel and disappeared into  the city of Cleveland where he can anonymously help the slayers there. Buffy has learned of his existence and hastened to find her vampire.
